Wow! I’ve just read a story that informs me that the NASA Astronauts have just began to live Tweet from Space.
o Live tweet from Space.
Before they had been sending information back to Earth Before groundstaff were posting it on the account but a new update to their software in Space means that they can now tweet and pretty much do anything they want on the Internet all from the comfort of the International Space Station!
So now, for all those dreams that were dashed because you thought you could not go more than a day without access to the Internet (for kids and adults alike) the dream is back on!
Or, if you think about it Lost in Space it wouldn’t have been quite the blockbuster it was as they could have used Google Maps to navigate!
Any other examples of how a space film plot would be ruined had they been able to access the web? Comment it and I’ll post the best ones.

I remember when I was young which was a Disney channel film called Zenon. They needed to get back in touch with people in the space station but couldn’t because there was no internet. If only the film had been made in the Twitter times! Although maybe it wouldn’t have been nearly as amazing and shown on Disney Channel.
Fine blog. I got a lot of good data. I’ve been following this technology for awhile. It’s intriguing how it keeps changing, yet some of the core components remain the same. Have you seen much change since Google made their latest acquisition in the area?
